Karen Brown was a proud resident of Albuquerque, till her passing at Morning Star Assisted Living.
Karen was born in Albuquerque, NM, into a very big and loving family. Karen left New Mexico to explore new places. She lived in Phoenix, AZ for some time and then returned to New Mexico in August, of 2013. She worked for World S&L as a bank VP for 30 years; as well as a very talented artist. She loved life and found joy in being with her family. She came from a very long line of brothers and sisters.
Immediate Survivors include Robert Butler, of Wenalctee, WA, Tom Butler, of Albuquerque, NM Patrick Butler, Albuquerque, NM. Sisters Betty Kelly, of Mesa, AZ, Glenda Hawkins, Albuquerque, NM, and Kerry Zesiger, Palos Verdes Est, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents Lillian Butler and Robert Shedrick.
The family of Karen Brown would like to acknowledge the help, care and concern provided by family and friends. In particular the compassionate team members of Morning Star Assisted Living for all they did.
Services will be for the family only.
