Kasturi Lal Verma, age 86, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on March 11, 2024, after a life rich with love and adventure. Born on March 5, 1938, in Khanke Mor, Punjab, India, he carried the warmth of his birthplace throughout his journeys.
Kasturi is survived by his older brother Sant, sons Anil and Ajay, daughters-in-law Vineeta and Anjali, and his four grandkids Rahul, Rhea, Saagar, and Samay.
A true embodiment of love and courage, Kasturi lived a life characterized by his zest for exploration. His passion for travel saw him residing in and travelling to numerous locations, each adventure adding to the tapestry of tales he would fondly recount. Always curious, Kasturi never ceased to discover the joy in everyday occurrences, whether it was a shared meal at a new restaurant or a simple, serene walk.
Kasturi Lal Verma will be remembered as a loving soul who approached each new horizon with the heart of an explorer. His adventurous spirit and courageous heart have left an indelible mark, creating cherished memories for all who had the pleasure of crossing his path.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. with a service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St. SW, 87102.
