Katherine Joe, 92, passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at her home in To'hajiilee, New Mexico.

Katherine was born on June 22, 1932, in Canoncito, New Mexico, Katherine's life was a tapestry of vibrant threads, woven with her passions and love for her community.

Katherine Joe was a resident of Kansas City to New Mexico.

Katherine is survived by her sons: Thompson Piaso, George Piaso, Harrison Joe, Harris Joe, Harold Joe, Sr., Harold Joe, Jr.; daughters: Rosita Chicharello, Margie Piaso, Nora Morris, Laura Cruise. She was a devoted Christian lady since 1957.

Katherine’s life celebration will begin with a service on Saturday September 7, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Canoncito Miracle Church of God located at 266 Tribal Rd North 7037 To’hajiilee, New Mexico 87026. Visitation will follow from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Katherine will be laid to rest following the visitation at Canoncito Miracle Church of God Cemetery less than a mile away from the church. Family would like to invite everyone to gather at the reception following the graveside back at Canoncito Miracle Church of God.
