Ladiz "John" Turrietta Iii

Ladiz "John" Turrietta III, 60, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022 after a battle with a chronic illness.

He was preceded in death by his son Anthony J. Turrietta; uncle Gary Martinez; brother-in-law Robert Martinez; in-laws: Estanisiado and Vivian Martinez.

John is survived by his wife Donna Turrietta; daughter Valerie Turrietta; father Ladiz Turrietta, Jr.; mother Mary Turrietta; sisters: Judy Turrietta (Johnny), Viola Kear (Steve); in-laws: Casey Martinez (Donna), Steve Martinez, Virginia Martinez, Frank Martinez (Geralene); his brother from another mother/best buddy Peter Gutierrez, also many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and other close relatives and friends.

John was born on July 20, 1961 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was a dedicated truck driver for over 40 years. He retired in 2021.

John loved his family. He was a devoted husband, father, and loyal friend.

John's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Monday, April 25, 2022 at 5:00 pm at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW, 87102. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church located at 1860 Griegos Rd NW, 87107. John will be laid to rest following the Mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87105.

Pallbearers will be John Brian Turrietta, Casey Martinez, Jr., Ramon Trujillo, Peter Gutierrez, Peter Gutierrez, Jr., and Steve Kear.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Eli Hershey and Noah Lozano
