Leonella "Lila" Garcia

Leonella "Lila" Garcia, 96, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021.

She was predeceased by her husband Manuel "Manny" Garcia; daughter, Yolanda Garcia; and granddaughter, Stephanie Garcia. She is survived by her son, Ron Garcia; grandson, Ivan Garcia; granddaughters, Monique Garcia and Sarah Valdez and great-grandchildren, Kayla Montoya and Ethan Valdez. Lila was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, and during her lifetime was an avid bowler and enjoyed traveling with her husband.

Lila's Life Celebration will begin with a Rosary to be recited on August 3, 2021 at 6:00 pm at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St. SW, 87102. Lila and Manuel will be laid to rest together on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 9:00 am at Santa Fe National Cemetery located at 501 N. Guadalupe Street, Santa Fe, 87501. At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Albuquerque chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
