Leonor Thais

Leonor Thais, 88, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2020.

She was born In Lemitar, NM to her parents: Manuel Moya and Ofelia Aragon Moya.

Leonor is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Willie B. Thais and son in-law Jerald Lujan.

She is survived by her daughters:Mary Lopez (Aristeo), Angie Lopez (James), Felajane Romero (Manuel), Dorrie Zamora (David), Sandra Sanchez-Lujan, and Joann Thais; sister, Lillie Sarracino; 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great granchildren.

Leonor's Life Celebration will begin with a Rosary to be recited on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church located at 5415 Fortuna Rd NW, 87105. Mass will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87102.  There will NOT be a reception due to the restrictions in place.

Pallbearers will be Paul Lopez, Josh Thais, Kael Chambers, Diego Zamora, David Zamora, Antonio Sanchez.

Honoray pallbearers will be David Zamora, Nai Pong Ng, Ronnie Duran, Eric Montgomery, and Jason Sanchez.

Due to the COVID restrictions set in place by the Governor the church has a capacity of 120 people. Masks are MANDATORY to attend.
