Lester John Salazar

Lester John Salazar, 67, passed away on Tuesday January 12, 2016.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Lester and Rebecca Salazar; and brother, Lawrence Salazar.
Lester John is survived by his wife of three and a half years, Cheryl Perea; sons: Michael Salazar and wife Shannon; and Mathew Salazar; step -sons: Anthony Reyes and Nickolas Perea; step-daughter Celia Perea and fiancAC. Nick Garcia; brothers: Louis Salazar and wife Gloria; and Joseph Salazar; grandchildren Saphire, Edward, Trinity, Audrina, Hannah, and Brendan; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

He was a funeral director at Salazar and Sons Mortuary, an artist, a paralegal, a musician that played the drums in many bands, and an entrepreneur that owned Alfredo's Coffee House in Old Town Albuquerque. Lester John had many hobbies which included spelunking. He loved his wife, family, and friends.

Lester John's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. at Salazar Mortuary, followed by a Service at 7:30 p.m. A Final Viewing will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. also at Salazar Mortuary, followed by Service at 10:00 a.m. and Burial at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Please join the family for a reception following Services at the Salazar Mortuary Event Center.

Pallbearers will be Gabriel Reyes, Anthony Reyes, Nickolas Perea, Paul Reyes, Andrew Reyes, and Nick Garcia.
