She was preceded in death by her mother Maria Ortiz, father Eliseo Ortiz, and brothers: Mario Ortiz, Eliseo Ortiz.
Lilia is survived by her husband David Bencomo, daughter Danaee Ortiz Bencomo, and sons: Brandon Bencomo, Dylan David Bencomo.
She was born on April 8, 1973, in Bachiniva, Chihuahua, Mexico and throughout her 51 years, she cultivated a life filled with devotion, elegance, and unconditional love.
Lilia's passion for life was evident in her everyday activities. She found joy in the simplicity of cleaning, ensuring her home was a welcoming sanctuary for family and friends. The outdoors called to her, and she answered by tending to her beloved chickens, caring for them with the same tenderness she showed to all living things. A devout Catholic, Lilia's faith guided her through life's journey, providing a foundation of strength and comfort not only for herself but for everyone around her. Her pleasures were simple yet profound; she relished cooking for her family and her favorite dish to make was chipotle chicken with a side of orange rice, a testament to her appreciation for the zest and spice of life.
Yet, beyond all her interests and pursuits, Lilia's children were the pinnacle of her achievements. She often said they were her greatest success, and she embodied the role of a great mom, doing anything and everything to support and nurture them. Her love for her children was her most cherished jewel, one that shone brighter than any of the many pieces in her elegant collection.
Fashion was another canvas for Lilia's vibrant personality. She had an eye for style, adorning herself with beautiful jewelry, purses, and chic dresses. Her nails were always impeccably done, each a miniature masterpiece reflecting her flair and meticulousness.
