Lois Guffey

Lois Guffey, aged 69, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, due to health complications after recent surgery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Gloria Brown.

Lois is survived by her husband Acie Guffey; three children: Chuck, Michael, Jason; grandson Lucas Garley, as well as siblings: Ruth Aubert, Paul Brown, Esther Aubert, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lois was born on May 13, 1954; her life was marked by her unwavering faith, constant generosity, and selfless nature. Her warm spirit and nurturing heart left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered.

Lois poured her heart and soul into raising her three boys. She instilled in them the values of kindness, compassion, and the importance of putting others before oneself. Lois’s passion for caretaking was ever-present in her ardent love for animals.

Known as a caretaker by all, Lois's generosity knew no bounds. She was selfless in her assistance to others and the last to ask for anything in return. Her dedication to her faith guided her through life, touching the lives of many with her boundless love.

Lois's life was an example of strength in faith and the triumph of spirit. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Lois' Life Celebration will be held on March 14, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Church, 4001 Osuna Rd. NE, 87109.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a local animal shelter to honor Lois's lifelong love of animals.
