Lorenzo R. Gonzales, 83, known to many as "Wero" passed away peacefully on Monday, September 22, 2014.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Lucille, his parents Rufino and Mela Gallegos.
He is survived by his sons: Robert Anthony, Gabriel Thomas and Lawrence Paul and wife Geraldine; his daughters: Katherine Jaramillo and Elizabeth Ann Gonzales; 8 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren; his brother Paul and wife Frances, one niece and two nephews.
Lorenzo's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at San Felipe de Neri Church located at 2005 N Plaza St NW, Albuquerque, NM 87104, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. also at San Felipe de Neri Church, followed by a Committal Service at 12:45 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Luis Jaramillo, Adrian Griego, Jonathan, Gabriel, Michael and David Gonzales. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Anthony and Lawrence Paul.
