Louisa E. Farley

Louisa E. Farley, 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, January 10, 2025.

She is preceded in death by the love of her life Alvin C. Farley, beloved son Joseph Farley, grandsons Steven Farley and Raymond Ortiz.

Louisa is survived by her daughters: Liz Robles and husband Alex, Patricia Gonzales and partner Larry Johnston, Geraldine Farley, Stephanie Farley, sister Lucille Chavez, eight grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Louisa found immense joy on planning and hosting holiday gatherings for family and close friends. She loved listening to the constant laughter and loud conversations then planning the "party after the party" for the next morning.

She will be deeply missed.

Louisa was born on November 8, 1957, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She worked for AT&T as a Long-Distance Operator in Albuquerque and then retired in Reno, Nevada. After her retirement, she happily returned home to Albuquerque.

Louisa's Life Celebration will begin with a Rosary to be recited on Monday, January 27, 2025, at 9:30am at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church located at 2005 N Plaza St. NW, 87104. Mass will begin at 10:00am. Reception will take place from 11:30am-1:30pm at San Jose de Duranes Hall located at 2110 Los Luceros Rd NW. Louisa will be laid to rest on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 12:30pm at Santa Fe National Cemetery located at 501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, 87501. If you plan to attend the burial, the family requests you arrive by noon.
