Lucia "Lucy" Gallegos

Our cherished Lucia (Lucy) Gallegos, 57, resident of Albuquerque, has gone to finish her great work in Heaven on Friday, May 15, 2020.

Lucy has taken a job offer with a Gracious Leader, the benefits are great, and retirement starts her first day on the job.

Lovingly remembered by her mother Raquel Soto, daughter Mayra and son-in-law Juan Escobedo, daughter Dalia Villalobos; her grandchildren Vanessa Martinez, Fabian Martinez, Adrianna Talamante; siblings, Jose and wife Elena Gallegos, Ricardo and wife Marisela Gallegos, Martha Gallegos, Roger and wife Maria Soto, Victor and wife Caroline Soto, Edward and wife Deanna Soto; also many nieces, nephews, family, friends, God children, and clients.

Lucy was preceded in death by her twin grandbabies Fabian and Manuel Martinez, and her son-in-law Adrian Talamante.

Lucy was a light to the world and anyone she encountered; she was the life of the party! She captivated you with her smile and her distinctive accent. She took pride in her work and lived her life with love and compassion; always looking for ways to bless others.

If you have ever met Lucy, she was either feeding you or cleaning up after you, she lived to serve others. And now her family will live to honor her spirit. The exemplary way she lived her life will guide us through this difficult time.

Lucy's Life Celebration will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 4:00 pm at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW, 87102.

Due to the COVID restrictions the funeral home has a capacity of 50 people. Masks are MANDATORY.
