Lucille "Lu" B. Jessen, 89 of Albuquerque, passed away August 25, 2013.
Lu was born July 28, 1924, to Herman F. and Eliza A. Huber. Lu loved her Weimaraner dogs, playing the saxophone and was especially proud of obtaining her amateur radio license and talking to her many "Ham" radio friends. Lu enjoyed life to the fullest and will be remembered fondly.
She is survived by her daughter Barbara Frazier and her husband Dennis; son David Jessen and his wife Melissa, daughter Jeannie Valdez and her husband Greg; four grandchildren David Frazier and Robyn Howe and her husband Brian, Jennifer Jones and her husband Robbie, Kimberly Roberson and her husband Ed; and four great grandchildren Malia and Aidan Howe, Elise and Robbie Jones.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate Lu's life. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Hospice of New Mexico, 4015 Carlisle, Ne, Suite E, Albuquerque, NM, 87107.
The family wishes to especially thank her excellent caregivers at A Love for Life Assisted Living Residence in Albuquerque.
