Lucy M. Barela, 88, passed on Thursday, May 21, 2015.
She was born in Tajique, NM, and was loved by everyone who knew her.
Lucy is survived by her two daughters, Rita and Fela; three sons, Ray Jr., Emilio and Ernest.
Her husband Ray Barela, daughter Laura, and son Gabby preceded her in death, but have now reunited with her in the loving arms of our Father and Savior.
Lucy was the ultimate example of unfailing love and selflessness, always showing compassion unconditionally.
Lucy's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at Salazar Mortuary, located at 400 Third St. SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102, followed by a Service at 1:00 p.m. and Burial at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
