Luis Estrada, Jr.

Luis Estrada, Jr., affectionately known as Jr., passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at the age of 50, surrounded by the love and warmth of his family in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Luis was preceded in death by his father Luis Estrada, Sr., mother Anna Estrada, brothers: Johnny Estrada, David Estrada, and nephew Adrian Vallejos.

He is survived by brothers: Ronnie Estrada, Donnie Estrada; sisters: Anna Marie Vallejos, Donna Estrada; niece Brianna Vallejos; nephew Vincent Estrada, and grand nephew Michael Vallejos.

Jr. was born on May 23, 1973, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jr's vivacious spirit and infectious laughter brought joy into the lives of those around him. A passionate sports enthusiast, he cherished the time spent cheering on his beloved grand nephew at his games, illustrating his profound love for family. His culinary curiosity led him to savor all types of food, combining his appetite for life with flavors from around the world.

Jr. was deeply committed to his church community, a testament to his generous and caring nature, and his diligence at work was unmatched, as he was proudly known never to have missed a day. Those who knew Jr will remember a man who was not only funny and loving but overwhelmingly kind. His legacy of warmth and mirth will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were fortunate to have crossed paths with him.

Jr.'s Life Celebration will begin with a Mass on Friday, March 1, 2024, at 10:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 1100 Montano Rd NW, 87107. Reception will follow at the same location.
