Luis F. Garcia

Luis (Louie) F. Garcia was called home by our our precious Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at the age of 48.

Luis was born on December 4, 1972 in Albuquerque, New Mexico where he lived all his life.

He is survived by his mother Annie Serna; father Floyd Garcia; brother Ricky Garcia (Martha); sisters: Janell Garcia, Annadine Garcia (Sammy Gonzales); nephew Steven Gonzales (Bernice Chavez); five great-nephews that he adored: Gabriel, Andrew, Jacob, Joseph, and Damien. He is also survived by a large extended family.

Luis was a server at the Range Cafe for 10 years. He had many friends whom he loved at the Range Cafe.

The void Luis leaves behind can never be filled. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.

Luis' Life Celebration will take place on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 10:00 am at Sagebrush Community Church located at 6440 Coors Blvd. NW, 87120. Luis will be laid to rest at 12:00 pm at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd. NE, 87107.

Due to the COVID restrictions set in place by the Governor masks are MANDATORY to attend Luis' Life Celebration and Burial. Sagebrush has a capacity of 75 people inside of the church with another 75 people able to watch the service on a screen from a different room. Mount Calvary is allowed to have five people at the graveside. They ask that all attendees stand back 20-30 feet in groups of 5.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Garcia, Steven Gonzales, Morris Serna, and Sammy Gonzales.
