Mable K. Patterson

Mable Irene Patterson went to be with our Lord Jesus on Saturday, May 14th while surrounded by loved ones.
She was born November 23rd, 1934 in Norfolk, Virginia. She lived in Virginia until she met her husband of 63 years, John H. Patterson. The "handsome Marine" (who was stationed at Cherry Pointe Marine Corp Air Station) came to church one Sunday and it was "love at first sight." They married on December 12th, 1953 in Norfolk Virginia and moved to New Mexico in 1955, after John (a New Mexico Native) was discharged.
She is survived by her husband John, who loved and cared for her until her last breath was taken. She is also survived by four of her five children: Susan Montano (husband Charles); Karen Vescovi (husband Jeff); Gary Patterson (wife Corrine); Robert Patterson; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, John Michael Patterson. She loved working in her garden at her home in the South Valley where she raised her five children.
