Maria A. Ramirez

Maria A. Ramirez, 84, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Diego B. Ramirez and parents: Adalberto Amaya and Ernestina Gamez.

Maria is survived by her sons: Jaime Amaya and wife Pauline, Roberto Amaya and wife Manuela, Ernesto Escobar and wife Tammy; daughters: Irma Contreras and husband Javier, Dora Nunez and husband Ramon, Tina Ortiz and husband Sonny; 34 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Some of her well known phrases: Ayudame Dios Mio and she called all her sons Papi.  She gave lots of Carinos and always told us Te Amo Mi Amor. She enjoyed feeding family and friends. She loved Caldo De Res at El Branco, watering her garden (Hierbas) and Roses, Novelas, Caso Cerrado and going to the Casino. Maria also always had a hand full of jokes for us.

Maria's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 9:00 am at Calvary Chapel Southwest located 6510 Fortuna Rd. NW, 87121. The Life Celebration Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Pajarito Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Adrian Amaya, Michael Cavazos, Christian Mccullough, Lee Amaya, Ethan Ortiz, and Armando Escobar.  Honorary Pallbearers are Gabriel Amaya, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Due to the COVID restrictions set in place by the Governor masks are MANDATORY to attend Maria's Visitation and Service.
