Marko "Marky Mark" Griego, 33, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2016.
Mark is survived by his parents: Bernardo Griego and Barbara Griego Martinez; daughter: Summer Angel Griego; Brothers: David "Rico" Griego and husband Dominic Garcia. Gilbert Griego, Art Rivera, and Michael Griego; sisters: Lisa Rivera and Doreen Griego; nieces: Miranda Griego, Tanisha Griego, Felisha Griego and Anissa Griego; Aunts and Uncles: Charlene Alderete and husband Michael Rubino. Rose Linda Chavez, Robert James Chavez and wife Sally, and Daniel Chavez and wife Norma, along with numerous cousins and friends.
Marky Mark was a friend to all, leaving a legacy of generosity and love. Mark was never one to judge and always saw the best in everyone he met. Mark had a passion for fixing cars, loud music and making things to give to others. Marko he never saw anything as junk and would reuse anything he found weather it be to fix his truck or make crosses.
Marko's Funeral Service will begin with a viewing Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. both at Salazar Mortuary (400 3rd Street SW). Burial will follow at Pajarito Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends and family for a reception at Los Padilla's Community Center (Corner of Los Padilla's & Isleta Blvd.) following the burial.
Pallbearers will be Marvin, Jay, Gabriel, Kevin, Art and David.
