Marleene Rose Hentz

Marleene Rose Hentz passed away at home on Thursday, December 9, 2021.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Walter and Mildred Shell, brother John Shell, and son Danny Hentz.

Marleene is survived by her husband Robert Hentz; brother Chuck Shell (Patsy); son Cody Timmons; daughters: Ramie McGee, Lisa Hentz, Michelle Williams (Chipper), Jan Montoya (John), 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Marleene was born on February 23, 1943, and was a long-time resident of the South Valley. She was an active member of the Church of Our Lord. She was an active member of her local crochet group, helping supply blankets, hats, gloves, and booties to area hospitals and nursing homes. Marleene was also a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Posse. In addition to her family, she loved reading, animals and was an avid gardener.

Marleene will be laid to rest on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 11:00 am at Pajarito Cemetery located at the intersection of Pajarito Rd SW and Coors Blvd SW, 87121. Family and friends are welcome at the graveside service. Please join us after the graveside at Bob's home in the South Valley to celebrate and remember Marleene's life.
