Martha Marie Mercer

Martha Marie Mercer born May 19, 1929, in Mansfield Ohio, passed away on January 7, 2022, at the age of 92. Martha was firstly a homemaker but also worked in insurance, banking, education, and jewelry sales during her blessed life in Mansfield, Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Taos.

Martha was a Cub Scout leader for her sons, Brownie leader for her daughters, an avid reader, an expert seamstress and, a Women’s Circle member at St. Johns United Methodist Church Albuquerque.

Martha was proceeded in death by her parents, John and Margaret Eder, her husband, Frank H. Mercer of 66 years, three siblings Edward Eder, Anne Kolibab, and Betty Morton. She is survived by her six children Frank, John, Bill, Betsy, Annie and Rob along with their spouses, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Martha loved to dance and had the most incredible smile. After meeting our Lord in heaven, our beloved mother is together again with Frank and dancing once again.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11AM, Friday, January 21 at the Coronado Villa Retirement Resort 6900 San Vicente Ave NE 87109.
