Martha A. Tafoya

Martha A. Tafoya, 65, was called home to the Lord on Wednesday, May 24, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her father Elidao Tafoya and mother Estella Cordova.

Martha is survived by her daughters: Rhythm Tafoya (Baby Cakes Zamora), Jazz Rapstine (Peter); sisters: Rita Tafoya, Patricia Tafoya; grandchildren: Peter Rapstine, Jr., Josiah Jones and Marcell Johns-Tafoya; and nephew Thomas Tafoya.

Martha helprd so may in the NA (Narcotics Annonymous) community. Her service work was endless and she always made time for new comers. She truly made a huge impact on so many lives.

Martha's Life Celebration will begin with a Mass on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 9:00 am at the Shrine of the Little Flower St. Therese of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church located at 3424 Fourth St. NW, 87107. Martha will be laid to rest at 11:30 am at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87102.

Pallbearers will be Rhythm Tafoya, Jazz Rapstine, Peter Rapstine, Marcell Tafoya, Brian Bowen, and Josiah Jones.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Peter Rapstine, Jr.
