Mauro San Martin Sr., 87, born in Vera Cruz, Mexico and became a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He went home to be with the Lord on September 2, 2014. He worked for BCSO Court System until he retired. He was The Ward Chairmen of East San Jose Community for many years. He was very active in his community and always helping those in need.
He is preceded in death by his mother Alberta, and brother Ernesto, and grandson Christopher. Survived by his wife Lucy and sons Robert and wife Nancy, Mauro Jr. and wife Theresa, and Rudy; daughters: Yolanda, Irma and husband Alex, Rebecca and husband Leonard, Sandra and husband Ed, Ana and husband Michael, Debbie and husband Gary; 18 grandkids; 37 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
Mauro's Life Celebration will begin with a Rosary on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. at Holy Family Church located at 562 Atrisco Dr SW, 87105. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. also at Holy Family Church, followed by a burial at Mount Calvary Cemetery. A Reception will be held at the Alamosa Community Center, located at 6900 Gonzales Rd SW, Albuquerque, NM 87121, directly after the burial.
