Michael Martinez

Michael R. Martinez was born on August 26, 1981 in Roswell New Mexico to Josphina Martinez. Michael went to his forever home on Wednesday, July 10, 2019. Michael was better known to his loved ones as “Hiebiters”. Michael is a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. During his life he had many great adventures.

Michael’s personality was one of a kind. His smile and laugh were infectious and to be around him was fun no matter what was going on. He worked as a service crew leader at Auntie Anne’s for 9 years where he developed many great friendships. Michael loved music, especially the kind that made you feel like you had to dance. He was a diehard Steelers fan and could never pass up some good wings and a football game. Michael is proceeded in death by his uncle Ishmael Delarosa. Survivors are his mother Josphina Martinez, his life partner of 12 years Stephen Gearhart, his sister Yolanda Leamer and husband Gary Leamer, brother Sergio Martinez, Sister Vanessa Beall and husband Wyatt Beall, and numerous nieces nephews and cousins who love him and will cherish his memories forever. A celebration of life will be held for Michael at a later time.
