Pat M. Ramirez, Jr., 86, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 15, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his parents Patricio Sr. and Ventura Ramirez; siblings: Martin Ramirez, Jessie Ramirez, Julian Ramirez, and Johnny Ramirez.
Pat is survived by three siblings: Lorenzo Ramirez, Rosemary Rodarte, Mercedes Portillo, also many nieces and nephews.
Pat was a master of his craft, dedicating his life to the art of baking. His work was not just a job, but a passion that brought joy to everyone who tasted his creations. He was known for his creative cakes and delicious pastries, which were a testament to his dedication, skill, and creativity. Although Pat was a baker for his profession, he loved to make posole and extra hot green chile.
Pat's love for nature was evident in the beautiful fruit orchard and small garden that he meticulously maintained. His orchard was a sight to behold, brimming with different varieties of fruits that he generously shared with friends and neighbors. His garden provided not just fresh vegetables, but also a place of serenity and peace, reflecting his love for the environment and his commitment to sustainable living. His favorite sports were wrestling, college basketball and football.
Despite his busy schedule, Pat made it a point to read the newspaper daily, staying informed about the world around him, he could give you dates and years of birthdays, wedding, and pasted events. His wisdom was reflected in his insightful conversations and his ability to provide sound advice to anyone who sought it. He was a beacon of knowledge and wisdom, always ready to share his thoughts and perspectives.
Pat's life was a testament to the power of passion, hard work, and generosity. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of those who were fortunate enough to know him. Pat was truly one of a kind.
Pat’s Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at 8:00 a.m at Holy Family Catholic Church located at 562 Atrisco Dr SW, 87105. Rosary will be recited at 8:30am. Mass will begin at 9:00 a.m. Pat will be laid to rest following the Mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87102. Reception will take place at Holy Family Catholic Church following the graveside service.
Pallbearers will be Junior Ramirez, Mark Ramirez, Ernest Rodarte.
