Patricia Padilla

On Wednesday, October 17, 2018 Patricia (Perez) Padilla, age 67, of Hurley, NM passed away surrounded by her family.

Patricia dedicated her life to helping others, her family and her pets. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Roger Padilla Jr., whom she spent 36 years with.

She is preceded in death by her father Juan Perez and her sister Rita Holguin.

She is survived by her mother, Estella Perez, her sister Virginia and husband Raymond Cortez, her brothers Jesus and wife Joan Perez and youngest brother Stevan and wife P.D. Perez. She also leaves behind her five children, Lorie Holguin, Andrew Palmer, Diane Padilla, Roger Padilla III and Desirae Lopez and raised one grandchild as her own, Christina Ramirez.

She was proud of her 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She loved her three fur "babies" Daisy, Patches and Molly who could always be found near her side.

Patricia was known for bringing her family and friends together through her love of cooking. All who knew her remember how she was always generous and giving. She will be greatly missed.

Patricia's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 6:00 pm at Salazar Mortuary, located on 400 3rd St SW, 87102. A Rosary will take place on Wednesday, October 24 2018 at 10:45 am, followed by a Mass at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. The Committal Service will follow Mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery, and a Reception will be held at the Salazar Life Event Center, after the Committal Service.
