Patsy Baca

Patsy Baca, 73, was called home surrounded by family on Saturday, January 15, 2022.

She is preceded in death by her father Joe A. Ortega; sister Virginia "Virgie" Sanchez and brother Patrick "Sam" Ortega.

Patsy is survived by her mother Clara Ortega; three children: Yvette Morales, David Baca, Derek Baca (Regina); grandchildren: Joseph, Daniel, Nikki (Jeffery), Marissa (Josh), Billy, Marcus, Antonio; great-granddaughter Gianna; sister Yvonne Ortega; her beloved baby Lulu and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Patsy was born on January 13, 1949 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Joe and Clara Ortega. She loved her family beyond measure. Patsy was one of a kind, she always loved to dress her best, she was a fashionista. Her sense of humor and laughter could brighten up even the darkest day. Her taste in music was admired and cherished by her kids and grandkids.

In all circumstances she put her love, trust and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. She raised her children and grandchildren to love Lord as well and to love each other. For that we are eternally grateful.

Memories shared with family and friends will live on for eternity.

Patsy's Life Celebration will begin with a Service on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 10:00 am at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW, 87102. Reception will be held at Agape Outreach located 3913 Central Ave NW.

The family wants to thank each and everyone for all the love and support.
