Paula Rae Garcia (Munoz)

Paula Rae Garcia (Munoz), 58, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 14, 2022 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony Garcia; children: Christopher Pitts, Jessica Pitts and Felicia Pitts.

Paula is survived by children: Christina Munoz, Jeremy Pitts, Brianna Pitts; parents Fred and Mary Munoz, grandsons: Damien Padilla & soon to be Jeremy Pitts, Jr.; siblings: Debbie Padilla, Elena Torrez-Chavez, Steven Munoz, Johnny Munoz, Robert Munoz, Dolores Sanchez, Lisa Arellano and Becky Garcia.

Paula was born on October 24, 1963 in Saitama-Ken Japan Johnson Air Force Base.

With red lipstick on, hair fluffed and outfit perfectly matching, she was always the life of the party and late to everything. This time she was too early and left us hours before burying her youngest son Christopher. She was always making sure everyone was ok before taking care of herself. She would do anything for her kids or anyone she loved, including giving you her last dollar or the shoes off her feet. As a hairstylist she had a flair for design and connecting to people. She could talk your ear off for hours and hours. She was hard not to love.

Paula's Life Celebration will take place on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the American Postal Workers Union located at 401 Kinley Ave NE, 87102.

The family requests to please wear red [her favorite color] in her honor that day even if you can't attend!
