Peggie Salazar passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at the age of 58.

She was preceded in death by son Joey Salazar; husband Jose Felipe Salazar; mother Viola Aragon; sister Valerie Aguilar; and father Joe Aragon

Peggie is survived by sons: Jeffrey Salazar and wife Valeria Salazar, Nathan Salazar; grandchildren: Matteo Salazar, Myeli Salazar, and Mariceli Salazar.

Peggie was born on January 20, 1966, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Peggie's life was a vibrant dance, filled with the rhythm of love, the steps of devotion, and the grace of giving

Peggie's passion for dance was not just a hobby; it was her life's work. She owned a dance studio where she poured her heart into teaching others the art that brought her so much joy. Her students were her extended family, and she touched many lives with her enthusiasm and skill. The dance floor was her sanctuary, a place where she connected with people and shared her zest for life.

Family was the cornerstone of Peggie's world. She adored spending time with her grandchildren, instilling in them the values of kindness and faith that she held so dear. Her role as a grandmother was one she cherished deeply, and her legacy of love will continue to guide them as they grow.

Peggie's Life Celebration will begin with a Viewing on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 4:30pm at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St. SW, 87102. Service will begin at 6:00pm.
