Raymond A. Cordova

Raymond A. Cordova passed away on Monday, December 18, 2017.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Pedro and Natividad Cordova, daughter Christine Martinez, brothers: Manuel and Alonzo Cordova, sisters: Tillie Otero and husband Tony, and Pita Cordova; and brother-in-law, Bruce Hodgden.

Raymond is survived by his wife, of 58 years, Loretta Cordova; son Raymond A. Cordova II; brother Robert Cordova and wife Lydia; sister Dulcinea Hodgden; sisters-in-law Loretta Cordova and Simona Cordova; 3 grandchildren: Ashley, Antoinette and Alexandria; and 2 great-grandchildren: Mariah and Jasmine.

Ray was a proud veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was an electrician for 40 years. His many hobbies included gardening, carpentry, fishing, and the being in the great outdoors. Ray also enjoyed country music and singing. The Cordova family would like to thank the wonderful Ambercare Home Healthcare.

Raymond's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, located at 562 Atrisco Dr SW 87105, followed by a Rosary at 8:30 a.m. and Mass at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow Services at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Andy Perry, Perry Hodgden, John Hodgden, Anthony Cordova, Randy Cordova, and Jimmy. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Cordova Jr., Francisco Cordova, Joseph Cordova and James Cordova.
