Regan Gwyneth Howard passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the age of 26.
She is survived by her adoring parents Mara Christian Rosa and Paul Matthew Howard, brother John Christian Howard, grandparents, stepfather, stepsister, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, co-workers, and everyone else whose lives she touched.
Regan was born on January 5, 1999, in Albuquerque, New Mexico and graduated from Rio Rancho High School in 2017. She attended the University of New Mexico to study linguistics, learning Arabic and Farsi. She later learned Finnish through self study. Regan’s true passion was cooking, and she began her career as a Chef in 2021. She loved the challenge of creating specialty dishes and desserts for the restaurants where she worked.
Regan was an “Old Soul” possessing bottomless empathy for others, particularly children with special needs and anyone facing struggles. She was wicked smart, deviously funny, irreverent, direct, and a talented, gifted writer and collage artist.
Regan's Life Celebration will be held on Monday, January 27, 2025, at 9:00am at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St. SW, 87102.
