Richard would like to let you know that his work here on earth is done. He received a call, a sort of an offer you can't refuse, for an appointment from which he will not be returning. This assignment comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with family and friends he hasn't seen in a long time. Job security is exactly 110 percent. His new mission takes him to a place where he will be socializing, fishing, playing horseshoes, and playing his casino games to his hearts content. Music, laughter, and love are guaranteed. Food is delicious and you never gain an ounce. he left detailed instructions for his wife, kids and grandkids, to celebrate his new mission, which has now been completed.
Richard, is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Josie Lucero, his two children Leon Lucero, and partner Debra Candelaria, April Lucero-Rivera. His four grandsons Andrew, Austin, Jordan, and Brandon.
He is also survived by his four sister's
Connie Zamora and husband Gilbert, Mela Lopez and husband Jake, Theresa Coddens and husband Jerry, Esther Saenz and husband Leo, and many many family members.
Richard's services will be held Saturday, November 18th at 1pm at Salazar and Sons at 400 3rd St SW Albuquerque, NM 87102
A reception will follow after his services at Floyd and Molly's home.
