Rita Salazar, 83, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, December 17, 2015.
She is predeceased by her parents Benito and Erlinda Valdez, husband Joe Salazar, sister Dora Lucero, and brother Ruben Valdez.
Rita is survived by her sons Marty Salazar (Yvonne) and Ramon (Ray) Salazar (Debbie); six grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Rita's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at Salazar Mortuary, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Parish on Stover Ave. SW, followed by Burial at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Please join the family for a Reception at Salazar Mortuary following Burial.
Pallbearers will be Dominic Montoya, Joseph Salazar, Ramon Salazar Jr., Mario Salazar, Jordan Salazar, and Danny Salazar.
