Robert R. Roybal

Robert R. Roybal, age 61 born Friday, February 17, 1956, in Santa Fe, New Mexico joined the Lord and his loved ones Thursday, May 11, 2017, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Robert leaves his wife of 28 years Chris Roybal of Grants, New Mexico, son William Roybal and wife Angelica of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Randy Arthur and fiancAC. Kathy, Michael Arthur and wife Lori all of Tucson, Arizona, Wade Purdy and wife Shannon of Richmond, Texas and daughter Chrystine Wellner of Moriarty, New Mexico. He is survived by his brothers Edward Roybal and wife Marsha of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Frank Roybal and wife Betty of Grants, New Mexico, sister June Suazo of Grants, New Mexico and sister in law Anna Roybal of Grants, New Mexico. Robert loved his grandchildren, Jaime Purdy, Jimmy Purdy, Shelby Schroeder, Kyle Schroeder, Michael Pritchard, Heather Pritchard, Sandy Green, Valerie Brown, Billy Brown, Brandon Brown, Eric Bryson and Kira Bryson.

He took immense pride in his nieces and nephews. Christopher Kristich, Ashley Pepe, Paul and Albert Roybal, Eric and Sandra Suazo, Jessie and Aaron Roybal, Rick and Gabrielle Roybal.

Robert had such a great love of children and was blessed to have so many that calls him Dad they include Eric Davis, John Schrader, Patrick Jordon, Christopher Castellanos, Edgar Campos, Shane and Stephen Toussaint, and Mario Maes.

Robert loved the Lobos and fishing. In honor of Robert please wear your best Lobo or Lobo colored shirt.

A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, May 20, 2017, 11:00 am at Living Hope Church 901 North 1st Street Grants, New Mexico. Pastor Lloyd Ortiz will be officiating.
