Robert "Robin" Homer

Robert A. Homer, 65, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

He was preceded in death by her mother Maria R. Homer; father Byron N. Homer, Sr.; and two brothers: Edward C. Homer and Michael A. Homer.

Robert is survived by two brothers and three sisters.

He was born to Maria A. Homer and Byron N. Homer, Sr. on October 6, 1956 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was a long time resident of Gallup, New Mexico.

He graduated from Fort Wingate High School in 1974. He then served with the United States Air Force. After years of unemployment he learned the art of pottery making. It began as a hobby and turned into his life work as a potter. His works of clay, pottery, turtles and other pieces won him ribbons and recognition at many Indian Art Exhibitions.

Robert will be laid to rest on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery located at 700 Yale Blvd SE, 87106.
