Rose Tafoya

Rose J. Tafoya, passed peacefully at home in Albuquerque, NM on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at the age of 93.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband Ross U. Tafoya.

She is survived by her daughter Connie; son Charlie; grandchildren: Robert, Donna and fiancé Richard, Ernie, Kevin and wife Renee, Kurtis and wife Ashley; great-grandchildren: Daniel and partner Lorenzo, Chantal and partner Joe, Monique; great great-grandchildren: Isaiah, Josh, Anthony, Aaliyah, and Azrielle. Rose is also survived by her sister Margaret; brother John and wife Chris.

Rose was born April 19, 1927. She was a lady of love, class, composure, and some stubbornness. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Children were always drawn to her peaceful nature. She always loved and cared for animals.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Dementia Society of America

Rose's Life Celebration will begin with a Mass on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 8:45am at St. Anne's Catholic Church located at 1400 Arenal Rd. SW, 87105. Rose will be laid to rest at 2:15 pm at Santa Fe National Cemetery located at 501 N Guadalupe St., Santa Fe 87501.

Due to the COVID restrictions set in place by the Governor masks are MANDATORY to attend Rose's Mass and Burial.
