Rosita Clarita Jackson

Rosita Clarita Jackson, also known as Clara, Clare and Ita,  78 years old, went home to be with the Lord and her husband Leslie Ray Jackson on Sunday June 3, 2018 surrounded by love.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, wife, daughter, nani, sister, aunt, nina to many and friend.  She was born in Talpa, NM on August 30, 1939.

Rosita is preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Ray Jackson.

Rosita is survived by her children, Joseph Jackson of Denver Colorado, Theresa Cordova and husband John of Albuquerque, NM and Matthew Jackson and wife Melissa of Albuquerque, NM, her grandchildren, Felicia Ortega and husband Vince, Julian Godinez, Jeremy Jackson, Nikki Cordova and Daniel Ray Jackson and her step grandchildren John Cordova, Trevor Carter and Ainsley Carter, and her great grandchildren, Valerie, Vincent, Violet and Vesper Ortega and Ayana Cordova.

Rosita was retired and enjoyed spending time with family, going to the casino, crocheting, sewing and fishing.  She was loved by many and will always be remembered as opening her doors to anyone who needed a place to stay, rest or eat.

Rosita will be cremated and buried with her husband Leslie.

Rosita's life celebration will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 with a Rosary at 8:30 am and Mass at 9:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church located at 562 Atrisco Drive SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105 with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.  A reception will be held at noon at the Moose Lodge, 2121 Edith Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102.

Pallbearers will be Felicia Ortega, Julian Godinez, Jeremy Jackson and Nikki Cordova. Honorary pallbearer will be Daniel Ray Jackson.
