Roy Nelson Lee

Roy Nelson Lee went to be with our Lord on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the age of 38.

He is preceded in death by his father Nelson Junior Lee; grandparents: Irene Ayze, Johnny Slinkey, Nelson Lee, Sr.; niece Serena Garcia; and mother of his son Dylan, Angelina Muskett.

Roy is survived by his fiancé April Montoya; mother Phyllis Jean Slinkey; children: Dylan Junior Lee, Francisco Ortiz, Consuelo Ortiz; brothers: Leander Lee (Stacey), Adnan Lee (Roberta); along with multiple aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Roy enjoyed fishing, hiking, attending concerts, and spending time with his family and friends. He had a big heart and was always giving to others. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

Roy's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 4:30 pm at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW, 87102. Rosary will be recited at 6:30pm. Final Viewing will take place on Friday, June 11, 2021 12:00 pm at Salazar Mortuary. Catholic Service will begin at 1:00 pm. Roy will be laid to rest at Santa Clara Cemetery following the Service. A Reception will be held at Salazar Mortuary's Event Center after Burial.

Pallbearers will be Dylan Junior Lee, Leander Lee, Adrian Lee, Francisco Ortiz, Jaime Martinez, and Gilbert Martinez.

Honorary pallbearers will be Emory Gurule and Aaron Garcia.
