Ruby C. Valdez

Ruby Christine Valdez, 61, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, due to stroke and kidney failure.

Ruby was born on July 17, 1958 in Albuquerque, NM.

Ruby was survived by her mother and father Christine Maldonado and Pedro Valdez; her two brothers and sister; Randy, Ricky, and Yolanda Valdez, her son and two daughters; Jessie Sandoval, Felicia Contreras, and Christina Valdez; also her 11 grandchildren. All of whom she loved and touched deeply.

Ruby was loved by many. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. She always put people before herself and loved to make people laugh. Her favorite hobbies included reading, and doing word searches, and lets not forget she loved to cook, always making those yummy tortillas for everyone. She will be dearly missed.

Ruby's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW, 87102. Service will begin at 4:00 pm also at Salazar Mortuary.

Due to the COVID restrictions the funeral home has a maximum occupancy of 50 people. Masks are MANDATORY.
