Samantha Hope Sandoval-Lucero

Samantha Hope Sandoval-Lucero, "BUG" went to be with our Lord on November 16, 2017.Samantha was preceded in death by her grandparents: Alfonso and Juanita Lucero, and cousin, Isaiah Gurule.

She leaves behind her mother Sylvia Lucero and fiancAC. Steven Chavez, father Rodney Sandoval, step-brother Frank Chavez, and step-sister Gabriella Chavez, grandparents: Ray and Marie Sandoval, great-great grandma Louise Baca, nino and nina Rhonda and Mike Sanchez, 2nd cousin Easton Sanchez, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Sammy was always willing to help others, and was a selfless person. She loved to color and draw, dance, and sing. Sammy was a star in the ROTC at Del Norte High School. Her family meant the world to her. She loved her Raiders as much as designing clothes. She was funny and loved to make people laugh. She was the very first pancreas donor in New Mexico. She loved life and knew how to make the best of it. She never left you without a smile.

Samantha's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Monday November 20, at 5:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church, 3424 4th St. NW. Mass will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2017 also at St. Therese Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Estancia Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mariah Hollingsworth, Angelic Sanchez, Zaryah Bernette, Destinee Gurule, Shamyra Sanchez, Josiah Sanchez, Steven Lucero, and Felton Schlesener.
