Sharon Kathleen Giannini

Sharon Kathleen (O'Malley) Giannini, 68, was born to Virginia I. and James C. O'Malley June 26, 1945 in St. Louis, MO and died January 5, 2014 in Albuquerque, NM. A dedicated sister, mother, and grandmother, she is survived by her siblings Susan, Sheila, Brian, and Rory, her children Matthew and Annie, and her granddaughter, Brenna.

Sharon was a very hard worker, most recently completing 25 years of service to the Albuquerque Publishing Company as a supervisor of advertising accounting. Prior, Sharon worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Washington D.C. and the Bank of NM. Sharon graduated from St. Mary's Catholic School and attended St. Joseph's College and UNM.

A beloved mother and grandmother, Sharon made herself available to her children and grandchild, doing everything she could to help them in both good times and bad. She was a truly selfless person. Sharon would do anything to for her family, and will be greatly missed by them. She was an angel on earth and will be an angel in Heaven.

Sharon's Life Celebration will begin with a Rosary on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Salazar Mortuary at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at St. Charles Catholic Church on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery
