Shelley Gayle (Clark) Saavedra

Devoted paw parent, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, god mother, great aunt and friend, Shelley Gayle (Clark) Saavedra, passed Saturday, September 8, 2018 after a well fought battle with cancer.

She graduated from Valley High School in 1971.

She is preceded in death by her father Thomas Clark.

She is survived by her fur babies; Juan Pablo, Tobias, and Dakota, mother D'lila Yvonne Clark, sisters; Kathy Yvonne Clark, Chandra Lynn Lizarraga and husband George, nephew Travis Aaron Clark and wife Tracie, nephew Ambrize Thomas Lizzarraga and girlfriend Britney Strong, niece Tasha Rae Clark, god daughter Paetyn Anne Clark, great nephew Xander Aaron Clark, extended family the Vigils, sister friends; Roberta Vigil, Jan Harris and Gloria Reed, special family of friends from KTech; Kim Meagher, Jana Martinez, Andrae Griffin, Carla and Vince Aragon, Isabel Madrid-Roybal, Georgia Parras, Blanca Portillo, Norma Gudeji, Christian Chavez, all of her special neighbors; Linda Wilson, Tammy Seck, Kevin Campbell, Linda Manuel, special friends; Karon Dial, Tina Marie and Jim Goodwin, Susie Adkins, Vicky Camerlingo, Jan Evans, Georgia Brodbeck, Kris VanDeusen, Jan Koltonuk, David Garcia, Rita Ramirez, Debbie Perreault, and all that helped out throughout her illness.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Presbyterian Hospice staff for the wonderful care given to Shelley in her last days.

She will be greatly missed. We were blessed to have her in our lives.

Shelley's Life Celebration will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 starting at 12:00 pm at the Garden Center in Los Altos Park located at 10120 Lomas Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112
