Steve J. Salazar

Steve J. Salazar went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 17, 2020 at the age of 59.

Steve is preceded in death by his parents Pete and Dolores Salazar.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years Della F. Salazar; son Jose Martinez and wife Charlene; daughters: Jasmine Orr, Roxanne Franco and husband Frank; brother Antonio Garcia; sisters: Mercy Salazar, Sesaria Salazar, Sally Jaramillo and husband Joe, Betty Salazar, also 16 nieces and nephews.

Steve's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Monday, August 24, 2020 from 3:00 - 5:00 pm at Salazar Funeral Homes & Crematory located at 400 Third St, 87102. Final Viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at 8:00 am also at Salazar Funeral Homes & Crematory. Mass will begin at 9:00 am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church located at 5415 Fortuna Rd NW, 87105. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87102.

Due to the COVID restrictions set in place by the Governor masks are MANDATORY to attend all services for Steve. Salazar Funeral Homes & Crematory has a capacity of 50 people and Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church has a capacity of 125 people.

Pallbearers will be Jose Martinez, Paul Orr-Salazar, Frank Franco, Chris Lucero, Daniel Maldonado, Antonio Garcia.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Santiago Quintana, Lawrence Salazar, Paul Ortiz, Mario Jaramillo, AJ Felix, Curtis Smith and Derrick Lucero.
