Suzanna M. Pfaff passed away on November 24, 2023 just 75 years young. She was born on August 13, 1948 to the late Lawrence C Pfaff and Helen M Ruprecht Pfaff and lived her whole life in New Mexico. Suzanna was a member of St. Therese of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church. Suzy attended St. Therese and St. Vincent Academy. She attended and graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1967, a member of the last graduating class. During her high school years she began working for St. Joseph Hospital, starting in the cafeteria. After graduation she held many different positions at the hospital; switchboard operator, admissions , emergency room, and was promoted to Director of Communications and Transportation. Though she started at the main hospital, she ended her career at the Westside hospital in admissions. Sue loved her pets, and was an avid gardener. She grew very beautiful flowers. Sue was very concerned for the homeless. When she worked downtown at the hospital, she would give away coats, blankets, clothes, and food to those in need. Sue was a supporter of St. Martin’s Hospitality Center, (now Hopeworks), Joy Junction and Relevant Radio. Sue was devoted to the Blessed Sacrament, attending adoration every week.
Suzanna is survived by her sisters Arlene Skinner (Quentin), Mary Anne Healy, Phyllis Castor ( Don), Julianna Cornett, Catherine Warzynski, and her brother Lawrence M Pfaff(Janice). Sue also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Suzy's life celebration will begin with a rosary to be recited on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at the Shrine of the Little Flower St. Therese of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church located at 3424 Fourth St NW Albuquerque, NM, 87107. Mass will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. also at the Shrine of the Little Flower St. Therese of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church. Suzy will be laid to rest following the Mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE Albuquerque, NM 87102.
Pallbearers will be Sophia Zamarripa, Olivia Zamarripa, Trinity Akins, and Arthur Vincent Houghton.
