Teresa Celis Gonzalez

Teresa Celis Gonzalez, a vibrant soul known for her boundless love and selflessness, departed from this world on January 23, 2024, in Placitas, New Mexico.

She is preceded in death by her father Luis Celis Valenzuela.

Teresa is survived by her husband, Mario Luis Pulido Olvera, son Luis Alonso Pulido, mother Petra Gonzalez Diaz, grandson Otto Niklaus Pulido Tellechea, brothers and sisters: Jose, Manuel, Juan, Gilberto, Leticia, Delia, Ramiro, Pedro, Gerardo, Nestor, Soledad, Antonio, Carmelo, and many other family members and friends that all loved and cared for her

Born on October 3, 1959, in the quaint town of La Soledad, Durango, Teresa's passion for life led her to embrace many cities as her home throughout her lifetime.

A woman of many interests, Teresa found joy in the simplicity of sewing, the warmth of cooking, and the countless stories offered by Netflix. Her love for Mexican music was only paralleled by her enthusiasm for travel, especially when it reunited her with beloved family members. Above all, Teresa's innate desire to help others and her immense heart shaped the lives of those around her.

Her legacy is carried on by all who were touched by her compassionate spirit and her fervent dedication to living a life filled with purpose and kindness. Teresa will be remembered fondly and missed dearly.

Pallbearers will be Luis Pulido, Mario Pulido, Juan Celis, Pedro Celis, Ramiro Celis, Gilberto Celis.

Teresa’s life celebration will begin with a visitation on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW, 87102. Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 29, 2024, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church located at 301 S Camion Del Pueblo, 87004.
