Theresa Melton joined her dad in eternity on July 17, 2017.
She was predeceased by her dad Franklin L. Melton.
She is survived by her mother Corrine Melton, brother Jeff Melton & wife Camille, sister Cindy Melton, niece Sarah, and nephew Adam.
She spent 26 years teaching on the Navajo reservation in Shiprock and continued her teaching career in Albuquerque. She loved reading and wanted to impart that love to her students.
Theresa's Life Celebration will begin with a Rosary on Sunday, July 23 6:00 PM at St. Therese of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church (3424 4th St NW) with a Mass on Monday, July 24, 9:00 AM, also at St. Therese. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery (1900 Edith NE).
