Valente Acosta-Bustillos

Valente Acosta-Bustillos, 52, went to be with our Lord on Monday, March 30, 2020.

He is preceded in death by his father Manuel Acosta, mother Guadalupe Bustillos, and granson Orlando Lazarito Transas Melendez.

He is survived by his sons: Rafael Melendez, Valente Acosta Jr.; daughter Veronica Ajanel; stepchildren: Angel Munoz, Frank Muniz, Carlos Muniz, Guadalupe Ajanel, Jesus Melendez; grandchildren Antonio Melendez, Elijah Melendez, Jose Acosta, Everlyn Acosta, Liliana Melendez; step grandchildren: Reyna, Lalo, Tina, Mario, Lolo, Israel, Frankie, Gabriela, Jaylynn, Alex, Edgar; also his ex-wife Christine Melendez, and many nieces and nephews.

Valente loved to spend time with family. He was a very loving man and treated his friends as family. He was a hard working man. He loved to make people laugh. He would dance on his stilts and sing to everyone with his lovely voice. When he looked at people he only saw the good in them.

Now we say we will see you as soon. He will continue watching over us until we are reunited.

Valente's Life Celebration will take place by holding a Visitation on Saturday, April 11, 2020 from 9:00am - 6:00 pm at Reflections Funerals & Life Celebrations located at 2400 Washington St NE 87110.

Reflections will follow the Governor's restrictions and will escort 5 people inside the funeral home at a time. We ask that family and friends wait INSIDE of their vehicle until we are ready to escort the next group in.
