Will "Coach Will" Rogatsky, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, in his beloved hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his father Phillip Rogatsky and mother-in-law Theresa Miranda.

Will is survived by his wife Jessica, son Nathaniel, daughter Desarae, mother Joy, sisters: Rhonda, Kelly, Godchildren: Isabella, Joseph, father-in-law Phil and his wife Sabina, also many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Will was well-known and highly respected for his hard work and dedication. He recently retired after 25 years of diligent service as a Heavy Equipment Operator for the City of Albuquerque. His commitment to his work was evident in the way he carried out his responsibilities, ensuring the smooth functioning and development of the city he loved so dearly.

Aside from his professional life, Will was fondly known as "Coach Will," a title he earned through years of coaching baseball and softball. His love for the game was infectious, and his wisdom and guidance shaped countless young athletes in the community. He was not just a coach, but a mentor and a friend to those he worked with, always encouraging them to strive for their best, both on and off the field. Wisdom, accrued from a life well-lived, was his greatest gift, generously shared with all who sought his counsel.

Will was a man of many interests and passions. He was an avid outdoorsman, often lost in the serenity of hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved working on vehicles, a hobby that he passionately pursued. He was a die-hard fan of the Dallas Cowboys, he had an unmeasurable enthusiasm for his favorite football team. However, what truly defined Will was his unwavering positivity and constant smile. No matter the situation, he always found a reason to smile, spreading joy and positivity wherever he went. He was a loving individual, always ready to extend a helping hand to those in need. His sense of humor was unparalleled, often leaving those around him in fits of laughter, he was always ready to strike his signature pose of flexing his muscles.

Will "Coach Will" Rogatsky was a beacon of positivity and an embodiment of the spirit of Albuquerque. His contributions to the city and its people will forever be remembered. His infectious smile, unwavering positivity, and enduring wisdom have left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him. As we mourn the loss of this remarkable man, we also celebrate his life, cherishing the memories and the legacy he leaves behind. Will's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Friday, August 11, 2023, at 12:30 pm at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW, 87102. Service will begin at 1:00pm. He will be laid to rest following the Service at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd. NE, 87102.

Pallbearers will be Nathaniel Rogatsky, Sean Escarcida, Isaiah Escarcida, Russell Khatam, Tannia Garcia, and Derek Miranda.
