William E. Sanchez

William E. Sanchez, 48, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020.

William is preceded in death by his mother Alpha Quill, stepfather Donald Quill, mother-in-law Maria I. Fought, and stepson Matthew Fought.

He is survived by his wife Georgetta Sanchez; son William E. Sanchez, Jr.; daughters: Athena Simpkins, Ashleigh Ray, Autumn Ray, Samantha Sanchez; stepdaughter Jessica Fought, father Robert Sanchez (Maria), the woman he consider his second mom Judi Sanchez (Jimmy); brother Patrick Atencio (Carol); sister Rebecca Ek, grandchildren: Aniyah Terrazas, Raistlin Phoenix. He is also survived by his Tractor Supply family, his dogs: Harley, Waylon, Betsy, 45, and Hector, plus all the other furbabies, also numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other family members and friends.

William served in the Navy. He loved to fish and go camping. He also loved to cook on his grill and smoker.

He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

William's Life Celebration will take place with a Visitation on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 11:30am - 2:00pm Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW, 87102

Due to the COVID restrictions set in place by the Governor masks are MANDATORY to attend the Visitation. There is a capacity of 5 people allowed inside the funeral home at one time. We ask that all William's family and friends attending the Visitation stay INSIDE of their vehicles until we are ready for the next group of 5 to come in.
