Willie Miera

January 29, 1937 — November 29, 2020

J.A. Wilfredo Miera, 83, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2020 due to health conditions associated with Covid 19.

He is preceded in death by his parents Jose Margarito Miera and Juanita Rivera Miera, brother Orlando Pancho Miera, Sister Trinidad Miera Vasquez, and wife Genevieve Miera.

He is survived by his three sons: Marty, Matthew, Randy, daughter Kelly Hardiek (John), 5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Willie was a U.S. Army veteran during the Korean Conflict. He was stationed in California. He was also a former state deputy of the New Mexico Knights of Columbus, having held numerous offices. Willie was a legendary baseball fan and player.

He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

Willie's Life Celebration will take place on Friday, December 4, 2020. Mass will begin at 10:00 am at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church located at 5311 Phoenix Ave NE, 87110. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87102.

Due to the COVID restrictions set in place by the Governor, masks are MADATORY to attend Willie's services.
